On Wednesday 2nd July 2025, our Social Club members headed to Great Yarmouth for a long-anticipated day by the sea, and while the skies may have been grey, the atmosphere was anything but dull!
The journey began bright and early as the group boarded the coach, which quickly filled with the sound of music, singing, and laughter. Spirits were high, and the joy of being together on an adventure was clear from the start. With a soundtrack of favourite tunes keeping us company, the miles flew by.
Once we arrived, it was straight to exploring all that Great Yarmouth has to offer. From the golden sands of the beach to the classic amusements along the seafront, there was something for everyone in the group. Some members enjoyed browsing the local gift shops for seaside souvenirs, while others tucked into fish and chips or simply took in the fresh sea air.
Despite the clouds overhead, the weather held out long enough for a good wander, and it’s fair to say the atmosphere was warm throughout. It was a lovely day spent enjoying good company, good fun, and a much-needed change of scenery.
