It was all hands on deck at our Food & Essentials Hub in Moulton Park on Thursday 16th October 2025, as we came together for one of our biggest events of the season, our October Half Term Distribution Day.
Working alongside our amazing Partner Schools, we spent the morning preparing and delivering vital food and essential supplies to families across Northamptonshire who are facing financial hardship or crisis. Each parcel packed represents more than just food, it’s a lifeline, a bit of breathing space, and a reminder that someone cares.
Our incredible volunteers were out in full force, lending their time and energy to make sure everything ran smoothly. The Hub was a hive of teamwork, laughter, and determination as our team sorted, packed, lifted, and loaded hundreds of parcels ready for delivery.
We were joined by some brilliant community partners who rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in, special thanks go to the Moulton Walking Football Club and DSV Logistics in Brackmills for their fantastic support on the day. Their enthusiasm and hard work made such a difference, and we’re truly grateful for their continued support.
The parcels were distributed to staff at our Partner Schools, who will ensure they reach the families who need them most. Together, we’ve helped to ease some of the pressure families face during the school holidays, a time when many households feel the strain of extra meals and higher costs.
We couldn’t be prouder of the team effort that made the day such a success. Whether you were lifting parcels, driving vans, organising stock, or keeping the tea flowing, thank you! It’s your generosity and community spirit that keep TMDF moving forward and making a difference week after week.
