Our charity relies on the generosity of donors to be able to continue providing the community with vital services. Donations from as little as £5 can provide a small essential food parcel for an individual, £10 can provide a large essential food parcel for a family, £20-£30 could provide essential materials for an outdoor space or room renovation including paint and gardening tools. Alternatively, view our Amazon lists below to purchase vital items for our Food Bank. All food items will be added to our warehouse stock and distributed to the most vulnerable members of our local community.

We are also planning ahead a little for this coming Christmas. Many families in the local community are still struggling financially and Christmas is another added pressure that they could well do without. Visit our Amazon Christmas List to order items that will be distributed to residents of all ages across Northamptonshire.

If you would like to organise an event to raise funds for the McCarthy-Dixon Foundation, please get in touch. As little as £5 can provide a small essential food parcel for an individual, £10 can provide a large essential food parcel for a family, £20-£30 could provide essential materials for an outdoor space or room renovation including paint and gardening tools. From sponsored races, coffee mornings, cake sales to bike rides – the list of fundraising activities is endless so please help us to help others by organising your own fun-filled event!

Every penny counts, but where does it go?

All funding we receive is pumped directly back into the local community, supporting those who need it most. Many of the donations and funding we receive goes towards purchasing food for our foodbank and other direct community services. We support over 60 Northamptonshire schools, as well as many other vital organisations, through our foodbank. Funding also supports our essential social clubs, and other community outreach such as our Doorstep buddies programme. We also use your donations to support our home and garden renovations, purchasing new paint, flooring and decorations, as well as gardening equipment. Funding we receive also gets distributed among our other services, including our affordable haircuts, learning opportunities, and other school support.
