Festive Fun as Hundreds of Santas Take to the Racecourse for Charity Run

The Northampton Rotary Santa Fun Run 2025 took place on Sunday 7th December, and what a spectacular day it was! Organised by the four Northampton Rotary Clubs, the Racecourse was awash with festive cheer as hundreds of Santas ran, jogged, and walked to raise vital funds for local charities, including TMDF. Simply put, we’ve never seen so many Santas in one place!

TMDF was delighted to be one of this year’s chosen charity partners, and we were thrilled to see some of our wonderful staff and volunteers taking part.  TMDF team members Teresa and her daughter Grace, Jenna and her daughter Livvie, and sisters Marie and Kath all embraced the festive spirit, donning their Santa suits and helping to make the event truly special.

With routes of 2.5km or 5km around the Racecourse, participants of all ages and abilities took part, whether running, jogging, walking, pushing buggies, or even on wheelchairs or mobility scooters.  Well-behaved dogs on leads joined in the fun too! Every participant received a Santa suit and medal, adding to the festive atmosphere and making it a joyful way to kick off the Christmas season.

Proceeds raised go directly to TMDF, helping us continue our vital work across Northamptonshire this winter, providing essential food parcels, gifts, and community support to families and individuals who need it most.

We’d like to extend a huge thank-you to everyone who came out, supported the event, or cheered from the sidelines.  Your generosity makes a real difference.
