On Thursday 17th July 2025, we wrapped up our final major food distribution before the school summer holidays, and what a fantastic way to end the term!
Our Food & Essentials Hub delivered hundreds of food parcels and vital supplies across Northamptonshire through our School Partnership Programme. These essentials were collected by our fantastic School Partners, and distributed to families experiencing hardship and crisis at their schools. Our aim, as always, was to ensure these children and their families could start their school holidays with the support and basic essentials they need to get by, helping to alleviate the stress of financial difficulty.
None of this would have been possible without the time, energy and enthusiasm of our brilliant volunteers. We owe a heartfelt thank you to the incredible teams from:
Kingsthorpe College Sixth Form – A brand-new partner school this term, whose students are already planning fundraising events for us in the months ahead.
Moulton Walking Football Team – Now firm favourites at our distribution days, this great team of guys always arrive ready to help and dive right in.
Nationwide Northampton – Led by our ambassador Chris, who never fails to rally his team for termly volunteering sessions.
DSV Logistics – New supporters who joined us this time and are keen to do even more with us in the future.
We also included leaflets for Rhino Sports Academy’s summer camp in each food parcel, a little extra to keep families in the loop about local opportunities. We first connected with Rhino Sports Academy last Christmas, when they kindly donated toys to us for the children we support through our partner schools.
This final term-time distribution was a perfect reminder of the power of partnership. Whether it’s long-standing friends or new faces, every hand that helps makes a real difference to local families. Here’s to an even bigger and brighter term ahead after the summer!
