We currently offer food-related support to:
52 schools in Northamptonshire are supplied with food packages (the schools then distribute to parents/carers).
Support for the Northamptonshire Children’s Trust; for children in foster care, at care homes and young adults leaving the care system.
The NHS Comunity Mental Health Team; PCART, UCAT and N/STEP etc.
Victims of domestic violence through Northamptonshire Domestic Abuse Service (NDAS), supporting seven individual safe homes around the county.
This was to support the most vulnerable groups in our society and as we’ve moved on from the pandemic, we have realised that there are food banks that are designed for individuals, but we decided to target people through schools and various community, county council and NHS groups instead, this is how we ensure that those who get food from us, are definitely the most vulnerable in our local society.

Supporting Local Schools
We supplied 52 Schools during the COVID-19 outbreak with weekly food hampers to support those families who were in need.
Since their return to School, we now provide a breakfast box for Teachers to be able to ‘discreetly’ give children a breakfast where they may not have been able to get it home.
Food bags are also provided for Schools to be able to support family’s they have identified as being in need when they may not have been supported previously.
Getting them online
TECH 4 KIDS
When the COVID-19 pandemic was at its height, lockdowns and restrictions were introduced and the whole country’s schools were shut down, leaving the students to work from home.
Many of the most vulnerable children in our community either had no IT equipment at all or were forced to use outdated and unreliable devices that weren’t up to the task of home education.
The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation were able to source and supply 67 laptops with the most recent software and hardware in place to allow them to continue their education from home with the right tools.
