Supporting Over 103,000 people across Northamptonshire since 2020.
Our foodbank has supported 103,000 people across Northamptonshire since 2020. This includes over 90 primary, secondary and alternate provision schools, Northamptonshire mental health services including PCART, UCAT and N/STEP, the Northamptonshire Domestic Abuse Service, Northamptonshire Social Services, HM Prisons and Probations service and the Northamptonshire Children’s Trust.
We provide regular food parcels to many children, families and individuals across the local community – helping to combat hunger.
The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation are pleased to support The Food Aid Alliance who support the local community in many ways including: Food Banks, Food Aid, Food Club, Food Larder, Meal Provision Service.
For further information about any of these services, or for times, dates and locations, please download these documents.
Our foodbank parcels are not available to the general public. We work in partnership with over 90 Northamptonshire schools, as well as other local organisations, to provide food parcels through these organisations directly to those who will benefit from them.
Our Food Parcels contain a variety of food items weighing in at between 13-15 kilos total. This includes foods such as pasta, rice, sauces, tinned goods, cereal and other snacks.
We run a schools partnership program, which provides a range of essential services to all our 90+ Northamptonshire School Partners. This includes the provision of our food parcels – if you are a school interested in joining this program, please get in touch via hello@mccarthydixon.org.uk.
Similarly, if you are looking to refer a client on behalf of a Northamptonshire Organisation providing welfare and social care services, please contact hello@mccarthydixon.org.uk for further information.
Our foodbank is not available to the general public, however we will try to organise a food bank referral when possible for people in emergency and crisis situations.
Do you or someone you know need help and support to get through a difficult time? We know that asking for help is not easy, just complete our contact form and we’ll be in touch with more on how we can help.
