Kilkelly – Celebrating a Partnership Built to Last

On the final day of our epic Northampton to Belmullet Cycle, our team began with a stop in Kilkelly, County Mayo, which is home to one of our charity’s long-time supporters, Deane Roofing & Cladding.

Spirits were high as we rolled into the Kilkelly on Thursday, 7th August 2025, where we were greeted by an impressive balloon arch, applause, and a fantastic crowd of friends, family, and well-wishers waving posters and cheering us on.

Deane Roofing & Cladding have been fantastic, ongoing supporters of TMDF since we were established in 2020, generously contributing to many of our fundraising appeals and events over the years. Many of their staff have also taken part in various TMDF fundraising challenges, including this year’s Northampton to Belmullet cycle.

This year was no different.  Our visit to their head office was a chance to thank Cait, Noel, and the Deane family in person, especially Paul Deane, who helped organise this event, and to accept their generous cheque for £16,670.48 towards our 2025 fundraising total. This incredible donation will all contribute towards supporting both our charity, and six charitable organisations local to Belmullet, we cannot thank them enough for their dedication and generosity.

This stop was such a fitting start to the last leg of our journey. Fuelled by the immense energy of the Deane team and the surrounding community, it was a fantastic reminder to our cyclists and the wider charity team of the brilliant impact we can achieve when communities rally together in honour of vital causes.

TMDF gold heart
