On March 30th, we celebrated four years since the inception of our food bank charity, originally The Swan and Helmet Food Bank. Since March 2020, we’ve evolved into a multi-faceted community resource, supporting hundreds of households weekly with food aid, social clubs, community assistance and more.
It’s been a whirlwind of a few years, and we never could have anticipated the need would be as enormous in our town and county as it is. We couldn’t be more proud to be where we are now, and it wouldn’t have been possible without our fantastic volunteers, sponsors, trustees and community.
Looking forward, we’re optimistic about the next few years and the opportunities they bring. We’re committed to continuing our mission of serving those in need and building a brighter future for our community. Thank you so much to everyone who has been part of our journey so far.
