We are thrilled to announce the opening of our new Food Hub, a space generously provided by Commsave at Moulton Park, which will serve as the base for our food distribution efforts. Previously, we had been running operations out of a temporary location, but the growing demand for our services made it clear that we needed a more practical, permanent solution. Our volunteers had worked tirelessly to shop, pack, and store food parcels, but the space simply wasn’t sufficient to meet the increasing need.
Thanks to the support of Commsave, and with the help of Wicks, we were able to move our operations to this fantastic new space. The new Food Hub allows us to streamline our services, making the process of packing, storing, and distributing food much more efficient. It’s a significant step forward in our ability to help those in need, and we’re incredibly grateful for the support that has made this possible.
The official opening of the Food Hub took place on 18th December 2024, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. We were joined by a group of our wonderful sponsors, supporters and community members, for a wonderful celebration which was followed by a collection from our schools and our major Christmas food distribution.
We feel privileged to be part of such a supportive community, and we look forward to making a bigger difference together from our new hub. Thank you to everyone who has supported this journey so far!
