Our Schools Partnership Programme: Supporting Students, Families, and Schools

Through our Schools Partnership Programme, we’re proud to provide vital support to schools and the families they serve.  Each month or term, we supply breakfast boxes filled with items like raisins, snack bars, and cereal bars.  These discreetly help children who may have missed breakfast at home start their day right.

We also deliver food parcels every half term, ensuring families have access to essential supplies during school holidays when free meals aren’t available.  These parcels are distributed based on each school’s understanding of their community’s needs, with no restrictions or requirements for families to qualify for support.

Beyond food, we help schools address other challenges. We provide tech support, such as laptops or tablets, for students who need them – particularly in cases where families are facing illness or other difficulties that limit resources. In extreme situations, we can also offer vouchers for groceries, clothing, household items, or even appliances like washing machines.

Our work doesn’t stop at essential supplies.  We support schools through initiatives like our Stepping Out of Poverty campaign, Christmas collections for toys and turkeys, and educational engagement such as assemblies or school visits.  Jenna, our School Officer, serves as the key contact for schools, providing tailored assistance and guidance.

As part of the partnership, schools commit to hosting at least two fundraising or donation events each year.  We’re always happy to help them plan and promote these efforts, ensuring success. Partner schools also receive an official partnership plaque displayed proudly in their reception areas.

Through newsletters and social media, we celebrate the efforts of our partner schools, just as they do for us.  Together, we’re making a tangible difference in the lives of children, families, and entire school communities – one step at a time.
