On Wednesday, 17th December 2025, our team gathered for one of the most significant distribution events of the year. Our mission was to provide essential items and seasonal treats to local families, ensuring the festive period was a little brighter for everyone involved.
Working alongside our brilliant School Partners, we focused on reaching families facing crisis or financial hardship. Our Food and Essentials Hub was a hive of activity as partners collected thousands of food parcels, turkeys, warm winter clothing, and toys. These items were delivered to homes across the county just in time for Christmas, providing much-needed comfort and stability during a challenging season.
The momentum continued as community groups, local services, and charity partners arrived to stock up on supplies for the vulnerable individuals they serve. The atmosphere in the hub was truly electric, filled with teamwork, purpose, and a shared commitment to making a difference.
We were also pleased to welcome many of our charity’s key supporters and sponsors to the hub. It was a great opportunity for our corporate partners, local businesses, and representatives from West Northants Council to join us alongside our community partners. We were also joined by Deputy Mayor Mike Hallam. It was a pleasure to have them with us to see the work in action and to share the day with those who help make these efforts possible.
The distribution day was the pinnacle of an incredible month. Throughout December, we successfully delivered 1,950 food parcels to those facing crisis, alongside 338 fresh turkeys to ensure our clients could enjoy a full Christmas dinner. We also shared over 3,500 toys, games, and gifts with vulnerable children and adults, and added some festive magic with 839 selection boxes and sweet treats. Seeing these numbers together truly brings home the scale of the difference we have made together.
This massive operation was fuelled entirely by community goodwill and compassion. From the mountain of donated gifts and food items to the volunteers who kept us moving during the December crunch, we are so grateful to everyone who stepped up to make distribution day a success. While we cannot thank every contributor individually, please know that your kindness made a truly meaningful difference to thousands of people.
As we step into the New Year, we remain inspired by the kindness shown this December. The festive season is over, but our commitment to our local community continues every single day.
