On Friday February 14th 2025, a group of our social club members enjoyed a very special day out, starting with a visit to our Food Hub, based in Moulton Park.
The group was warmly welcomed by Steve Highway from Wincanton, Wayne from The Swan & Helmet Golf Society, and our dedicated team of volunteers led by Jenna, our Community Outreach Officer. They had the chance to see first-hand how their club contributions help the wider community, witnessing the scale of operations involved in running our Food Hub and distributing essential items.
Teresa, our Founder, spoke with the group about how the funds raised through our social clubs go directly back into supporting local people, including purchasing groceries and other essentials for those in need.
On the day, our Hub was stocked with hundreds of fully packed food parcels ready for collection by our local school partners, highlighting the scale of the Food Hub’s impact.
Whilst enjoying tea and coffee, served by our wonderful volunteers Liz and Wendy, our clubbers took in the sheer magnitude of our Food Hub and the essential role it plays in supporting families across the community.
