This January, our social clubs joined the nationwide Warm Welcome Week campaign, dressing in warm and bright colours to turn the so-called “Blue Monday” into a vibrant celebration of connection and community. Warm Welcome Week, running from January 20th to 26th, aims to combat the loneliness, financial strain, and mental challenges that can hit hardest in the coldest, darkest month of the year.
With a focus on spreading warmth and positivity, the campaign invites everyone to embrace a cheerful palette of oranges, reds, purples, and pinks. At TMDF, our members got into the spirit by bundling up in colourful outfits, sharing laughter, and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere. Together, we’ve proven that a splash of colour and a sense of togetherness can truly chase away the winter blues.
Warm Welcome Spaces, like ours, are inclusive havens where people from all backgrounds and circumstances can connect, share, and find support.
