‘The Big Pack’ – The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation distributes over 1900 food parcels to local schools, ready for the summer holidays.
The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation, established during the COVID-19 pandemic to assist families experiencing financial difficulty, and has expanded its reach to support over 70 Northamptonshire schools and other organisations. In July 2023, the foundation distributed over 1900 essential food parcels to families in need during the cost of living crisis, ensuring support during the summer holidays. These parcels are aimed at alleviating food insecurity for vulnerable children and households, and have provided a lifeline for many families in need.
