Our local football for foodbanks team recently raised an astonishing £316 with their matches. Their scheme is simple, each team member pays to play, and the funds go to a local charity. This September, they were generous to donate their funds to The McCarthy-Dixon Foundation, and we couldn’t be more grateful! We will use these funds to purchase essential food items for our foodbank, including pastas, sauces, snacks, cereals and other longer life goods. These items will then be distributed through our foodbank network of over 70 Northamptonshire schools, going to families who need them the most.
